About Soul Chitra
Where art, emotion, and tradition come together.
Soul Chittra was born from a love for traditional craftsmanship and meaningful gifting.
We believe that art should not just be seen, but felt.
At Soul Chittra, every creation is made slowly, thoughtfully, and with heart — because true craftsmanship deserves time.
In a world of mass-produced objects, we wanted to slow things down. We wanted to preserve the beauty of traditional craftsmanship while giving it a deeply personal touch. Inspired by the timeless Etikoppaka craft of Andhra Pradesh, Soul Chittra was born as a bridge between heritage and modern storytelling.

Inspired by the timeless Etikoppaka craft of Andhra Pradesh, Soul Chittra was born as a bridge between heritage and modern storytelling. Every Chitti we create carries a story — a face, a relationship, a memory. What starts as an idea or a photograph slowly transforms into a handcrafted keepsake, painted with patience, care, and intention.
What is a Chitti?
A Chitti is more than a handcrafted idol.
Each Chitti is painted entirely by hand and customized in one of two styles:
Caricature Style, where features are artistically enhanced for a playful and expressive look.
Realistic Style, where details are carefully painted to closely resemble the person in the photograph.
This process transforms a simple wooden form into a meaningful keepsake — one that represents a person, a memory, or a relationship.

Why We Do This
At Soul Chittra, we believe meaningful art has the power to connect people. Every Chitti we create is more than a handcrafted object — it is a reflection of a person, a memory, or a relationship.
By combining traditional craftsmanship with personal stories, we aim to create keepsakes that hold emotional value and stand the test of time. Each creation is made slowly, thoughtfully, and with respect for both the craft and the individual it represents.
This is what gives our work its soul.
